# Reports: Structured Marketing Data Views and Exports

> Build and save structured analytical views of your marketing data. Filter, export, and email report results to keep your team aligned on performance.

Reports are saved, named analytical views that let you slice and filter marketing data from your connected sources. Unlike dashboards—which are primarily visual and designed for at-a-glance monitoring—reports are structured and tabular, making them the right tool when you need to audit specific metrics, export data for another tool, or share a consistent view with stakeholders.

## Reports vs. dashboards

## View and filter report data

Open any saved report to see the data table populated with your most recent data for the configured date range. From the report view you can:

* **Adjust filters** — refine the data without permanently changing the saved configuration
* **Sort columns** — select any column header to sort ascending or descending
* **Search reports** — use the search field on the Reports list page to find a saved report by title

## Export and email report data

From any report, select **Email** to send the data to up to 10 recipients. The email includes:

* A header with the report title, date range, and data sources
* An AI-generated analysis section summarizing key findings
* A data table with up to 25 rows inline; a note indicates if the full dataset has more rows

<Tip>
  Customize the email subject line before sending. If the report title is descriptive, Marcenta pre-populates the subject line for you.
</Tip>

## Mark reports as favorites

Select the star icon next to any report in the Reports list to mark it as a favorite. Favorited reports appear at the top of the list so your most important views are easy to find.

## Use reports as dashboard tiles

Any saved report can be added to a dashboard as a tile. Open the dashboard, select **Add from Report**, and choose the report you want to embed. The tile displays the report's tabular data inline on the dashboard canvas.

<Note>
  The report tile on a dashboard reflects the saved report configuration, including its source system, metrics, dimensions, and date range settings.
