The Billing page gives you a live view of your subscription and how your team is using Marcenta. You can check your plan tier, review AI credit consumption, open the customer portal to update payment details, and upgrade your plan — all from one place.

Getting to the Billing page

In the left sidebar, click Billing. The page has two tabs: Subscription and LLM Usage.

Subscription tab

The Subscription tab shows an overview of your current plan and its details.

Current plan card

At the top of the Subscription tab, you’ll see:
  • Your active plan tier (Launch, Accelerate, or Orbit)
  • The features included in your plan (connected sources, AI credits, and more)
  • The monthly cost
  • Buttons to Manage subscription and Upgrade now (or Change plan)

Subscription details

Below the plan card, a details grid shows:
FieldWhat it means
ProviderConfirms billing is active through Marcenta Billing
StatusYour current subscription status (see below)
PlanYour active plan tier
Current periodThe start and end dates of your billing period
Cancel at period endWhether your subscription is set to cancel when the period ends
TrialWhether you’re in an active trial and when it ends

Subscription statuses

Your subscription is in good standing and all features are available.
You’re in the 5-day free trial period for a paid plan. You won’t be charged until the trial ends.
A payment attempt failed and the subscription is on hold. You have a 3-day grace period before access is restricted. Go to Manage subscription to update your payment method.
Payment has failed. Like on_hold, a 3-day grace period applies before API access is restricted. Resolve the payment issue through the customer portal.
Your subscription has been cancelled. If Cancel at period end was set, access continues until the billing period ends, then the account reverts to Launch.
The subscription period has ended without renewal. Your account is on the Launch plan.

LLM Usage tab

The LLM Usage tab breaks down how your team is consuming AI credits during the current billing period.

Usage summary

The summary section shows three columns:
  • Usage — total credits consumed and your plan tier
  • Remaining — credits left and your plan’s credit limit
  • Warning — overage credits and a status badge (Healthy, Low remaining, or Over quota)
Credits reset at the start of each new billing period. If you’re approaching your limit, consider upgrading to a higher tier for more credits.
The usage trend chart shows daily credit consumption across the billing period. Hover over any bar to see the exact credit count for that day.

Usage breakdown

The breakdown table lists credit consumption by AI action type, including the number of queries run, successful completions, and errors. Actions are sorted by total credits consumed, highest first.

How to upgrade your plan

1

Go to Billing

Click Billing in the left sidebar.
2

Click Upgrade now

On the Subscription tab, click Upgrade now (or Change plan if you’re already on Accelerate).
3

Choose a plan

Review the plan options and click Choose Accelerate or Choose Orbit.
4

Complete checkout

You’ll be redirected to the checkout page. Enter your payment details and confirm. Your 5-day trial starts immediately.
Plan upgrades are unavailable when your subscription status is on_hold or failed. Resolve the payment issue first through Manage subscription.

How to update payment information

1

Go to Billing

Click Billing in the left sidebar.
2

Open the customer portal

Click Manage subscription. You’ll be redirected to the customer portal.
3

Update your payment method

In the portal, add or replace your payment card, then save. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

How to cancel your subscription

1

Go to Billing

Click Billing in the left sidebar.
2

Open the customer portal

Click Manage subscription.
3

Cancel in the portal

In the customer portal, select the option to cancel your subscription.
Cancellation is set to take effect at the end of your current billing period. Your access continues in full until then. Once the period ends, your account automatically reverts to the Launch plan.
After cancelling, the Cancel at period end field on your Billing page will show Yes, confirming the cancellation is scheduled.

What happens when a payment fails

If a payment fails, Marcenta does not immediately cut off access. Here’s what to expect:
  1. Your subscription status changes to on_hold or failed.
  2. You have a 3-day grace period to resolve the issue.
  3. During this window, your account is fully functional, but plan changes are disabled.
  4. After 3 days without resolution, API access is restricted until the subscription is brought back to good standing.
To fix a failed payment, click Manage subscription and update your payment method in the customer portal. Access restores automatically once the payment succeeds.
Billing-related pages and your profile remain accessible even during a billing hold, but other features may stop working after the 3-day grace period.
