The HubSpot connection brings your CRM data—contacts, deals, pipeline stages, and lead sources—into Marcenta. Combined with your ad platform and analytics connections, this lets you trace the full path from marketing spend to revenue: which campaigns and channels produced leads, how those leads progressed through your pipeline, and what deals closed.

What data is synced

Data types

DataDescription
ContactsNew contacts created in HubSpot, tracked by day
DealsDeals created, won, lost, and their associated value
ActivitiesMeetings, calls, and form submissions associated with contacts

Dimensions

DimensionDescription
pipeline_stageThe deal stage within a HubSpot pipeline
lead_sourceThe original source attributed to the contact or deal
ownerThe HubSpot user assigned to the contact or deal
productProduct or service associated with the deal (if configured)

Custom deal properties

During setup, you can select up to two custom deal properties from your HubSpot portal to include in your Marcenta reports. These appear as additional dimensions when analyzing deal data. Only custom properties (not HubSpot’s built-in properties) are available for selection.
You can only select custom deal properties during the initial setup or when reconnecting. The selection allows up to two properties.

Before you connect

Make sure you have:
  • Access to a HubSpot portal
  • Permissions to read CRM objects (contacts, deals) in that portal

How to connect

1

Go to Connections

Select Connections from the left sidebar.
2

Select HubSpot

Click the HubSpot card in the Available connections grid.
3

Authorize with HubSpot

Click Connect HubSpot on the setup page. You’ll be redirected to HubSpot to sign in and grant Marcenta read access to your portal’s CRM data.
4

Select custom deal properties

After authorizing, you’ll be prompted to choose up to two custom deal properties to include in your reports. You can skip this step if you don’t need custom dimensions.

How HubSpot data works with your other connections

When you have both an ad platform connection (like Google Ads or LinkedIn Ads) and HubSpot connected, Marcenta can align your ad performance data with your CRM outcomes. For example, you can view which paid channels drove the most contacts, or compare spend by channel against deals closed by lead source.
For the most useful cross-channel reports, make sure your HubSpot lead source values match how you label traffic in your analytics and ad platforms.

Permissions requested

Marcenta requests read-only access to contacts, deals, and deal properties in your HubSpot portal. No changes can be made to your HubSpot data through Marcenta.

Sync frequency and manual sync

HubSpot data syncs automatically. To trigger a sync immediately:
  1. Go to Connections.
  2. Find the HubSpot connection in the Active Connections grid.
  3. Click Sync Now.

Troubleshooting

The OAuth token may have expired or been revoked. Open the connection’s Manage view and reconnect. After reconnecting, click Sync Now to resume data collection.
Only non-HubSpot-defined custom properties are available for selection. If you don’t see any options, your HubSpot portal may not have any custom deal properties configured. You can add custom properties in HubSpot under Settings → Properties, then reconnect Marcenta.
Check that the date range in Marcenta matches what you’re viewing in HubSpot. Marcenta reports on creation dates, so ensure your HubSpot filter is also using the deal or contact creation date. If counts still differ, trigger a manual sync from Sync Now.
Your HubSpot OAuth session has expired. Reconnect from the Manage view and then retry Sync Now.
