Before you connect

Make sure you have:
  • A Google Ads manager account with at least one direct child (individual) ad account linked to it
  • The ability to sign in to that Google account
Marcenta connects via your manager account, then asks you to select which child accounts to sync. If your ad account is a standalone account (not under a manager), you may not see it in the account selection step.

How to connect

1

Go to Connections

Select Connections from the left sidebar.
2

Select Google Ads

Click the Google Ads card in the Available connections grid.
3

Authorize with Google

Click Connect Google Ads on the setup page. You’ll be redirected to Google to sign in and grant Marcenta read-only access to your campaigns and performance data.
4

Select accounts

After authorizing, you’ll be taken to the account selection screen. Choose one or more child ad accounts to sync, then confirm your selection.
You can connect multiple Google Ads accounts. Each selected child account becomes a separate connection in Marcenta.

Permissions requested

Marcenta requests read-only access to your Google Ads campaigns and performance data. No changes can be made to your campaigns through Marcenta.

Sync frequency and manual sync

Google Ads data syncs automatically. To trigger a sync immediately:
  1. Go to Connections.
  2. Find the Google Ads connection in the Active Connections grid.
  3. Click Sync Now.

Troubleshooting

An error status usually means your Google session has expired. Open the connection’s Manage view and click Reconnect to sign in again. Once reconnected, click Sync Now to resume data collection.
This typically means the Google account you authorized is not linked to a manager account with child accounts. Sign in with the Google account that has manager access, or ask your Google Ads administrator to grant you manager-level access.
Your Google session has expired. Go to the connection’s Manage view, sign in again, and then try Sync Now.
Confirm the correct child accounts are selected. Navigate to Connections, open the Google Ads connection via Manage, and verify which accounts are linked. You can reconnect to re-select accounts if needed.
